When you make a post and want to apply two functions on the editor, this lose the focus and you have to select it again.
I.E.: For Apply bold you select the text and apply it, but if you want to add underline too you have to select that text again, so I think this will be better if dont lose the focus on the selection
vB has that feature too.

You don't have to re-select the text in FF. Just switch to FF.
It doesn't happen to me...? In none of the browsers I use.

It's really not that much of a problem in Opera.
And before a wiseguy comes along, no, the solution isn't to switch browsers.
