Im trying to create a new template but everything i try i dont seem to like.

Im going for something along the same layout and preferably a blueish theme...any ideas on what i should do?
Bigger box, colour the sidebox a different shade.

I would go with lighter blue with little turquoise overtone. And red is to grotesque (dark). Try more lighter reds - close to orange. Introduce some (not to much) yellow.

Your color choices are always dark and boring tbh..
Try throwing some light gradients in there.
