You can just revert it to default in the ACP... click Options next to the header template and click Revert to Original.

In the future I recommend Google Desktop.
I had the exact same problem, my browser erased the header code after submitting the header code changes, so I was searching for a backup copy. I opened Google Desktop and browsed my personal computer cache where my PC stores copies of websites visited. I visited the cached page of the header template and copied and pasted the code.
