I just set up our MyBB Forums but when someone tries to register it does not send out the confirmation e-mails, or any e-mails for that matter ??? do i need to install a specific type of mail program? help please

MyBB uses the PHP mail() function, so if the PHP mail function is configured correctly (in php.ini if you are the server admin) then it should work.
