My problem :

The Admin CP is completely bugged, I see nothing.

See the attached screenshot.

The forum is also not really looking like much, see my url for that. It's all bugged.

I just installed the latest MyBB version, downloaded an hour ago.
Followed all the steps, nothing went wrong until I connected to my CP.

MySQL is 5.0

My host is 1&1.

Any ideas ?

Quite a few threads on this, it looks like you're missing your ./inc/languages/english/admin/ files, make sure they're uploaded. Also make sure ./inc/languages/english/ and ./inc/languages/english/admin/ are CHMOD to 755 and the files inside are 644 or 666.

The files were there and the auths were good, but for some reason the upload had corrupted the whole folder.

Reuploaded it anyway.

This fixed everything.

Fixed! It was a permissions problem.
