Is it correct that a member who chooses not to receive private messages can nevertheless still send messages anyway, even though the recipient can never reply?

It seems illogical, so I wondered if it was meant to be like this or whether this is an oversight?

I believe so, yes. I must say it's very annoying when we ask someone for login details in a PM, they give them to us, and we can't send them anything back, but I'm pretty sure it's how it's supposed to be.

In 1.6 there'll be an option to only receive PMs from buddies which will be good.

How to disable this option that prohibit receiving PMs?

Why not make your own thread instead of constantly bumping up 2 year old threads??
