The same prpblem, the task is running but the recount rebuld proces failed.
Only when I do it by myself then it works but not with the task.

I run Recount & Rebuild in Tools & Maintenance (so one by one).
When I run the scheduled task by myself it also do not work.

Is it a specific forum or all of them being affected?

When a post will be deleted first it will come in Trash can.
Sometimes it happens that you can read in Trash Can
2 threads with
4 posts.
But in real there are only 2 posts. After doing recount rebuild it is
2 threads
2 posts

Also a few weeks ago I had a user with - 200 post (negative) after doing recount rebuild it sais + 200 posts

And it happens when a thread has for example 31 posts and you click on the last post, this page does not excist (or something).
After recount and rebuild this thread has not 31 posts but 29 posts.

Ever tried to remove Trash Can Plugin and use Undo Delete?
