Hello,

I currently have an active forum, And I am wondering if I can update from 1.4.4 to the 1.4.9 with the 1.4.9 updated files. Or do I have to go through and get the 1.4.5, 1.4.6,1.4.7 and 1.4.8 files first?

No, the updated files package is only if you are updating from the previous version to the newest one, in this case, from 1.4.8 to 1.4.9.

You can upgrade direct by downloading the full 1.4.9 package and uploading it all, overwriting the current files, then run the upgrade script.

You're also bloody lucky not to have been hacked running a version this old with known serious security vulnerabilities.
