Are you guys getting sick of me and my questions? Toungue

Anyway, I have Speedstream 4200 attached to a Netgear wireless router which we use for all the laptops. I was wondering if the modem would be bridging to the Netgear, so I could just forward ports on the Netgear or would I have to forward all ports to the netgear then to my computer from the netgear or what? (the modem has port forwarding options.)

The strange thing is that I used to be able to forward ports on the router without having to change the modem, but now it doesn't work like before...

Once again, I hope I made sense Toungue
Netgear is always the problem, get rid of it Smile
I would, but I need a a wireless router for the laptops.
buy billion, thompson, d-link or jensenscandinavian
I recommend Tp-Link, never have had an issue. (minus a 98 computer...)

Also hard reset the router see if that works.
I spent about half an hour on it just now, and found out that the modem had some how changed from modem online (with bridge) to router mode. Changed that back and now it works Big Grin
