I have been trying to figure out a way to allow < and > in usernames but so far no luck. Anyone know how to do it?
I don't know how to allow them in usernames, but they are not allowed because allowing them is a security risk.
Yeah i can understand, but what i don't understand is why they are a securityrisk in the username and not in the threadtitle...
There has to be a way to render them harmless. I think MyBB is the only software that doesn't allow it.
If they're not allowed, it'll be for a reason, it's not advised to undo stuff done for security reasons.
