I was in the process of upgrading from 1.2.14 to 1.4.9 and everything was going great until this:

Couldn't quite finish the conversion, get's to the very last step.
Does anyone know what to do, or am I forced to go back to 1.2.14?
Looks like your web host might have timed out ?
Yeah, it just didn't want to finish the last step in the conversion.
Is there any way to do the conversion manually? Or what are my options to continue trying to upgrade?
Have you tried to convert offline & locally?
No I haven't how do you do that?
During the upgrade, it tells me I still have 2 plugins activated, when I know i de-activated them all.
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with why I'm having problems.
Any way to de-activate the 2 it thinks are activated?
Contacted my host, they told me it has to do with the size of my board. The "posts" table is 196MB alone, and he says it can't be converted online cause the 30 second timeout is global. Any truth to this, other people with large forums?
I know 1 way I can fix it is just to go back to 1.2.14 but then there is no support for that version. Maybe I should just give up on upgrading. If I do go this route, is all I have to do is upload the 1.2.14 files over the 1.4.9 files?
