A long time ago I wanted to use a .uni.cc domain name (I know, most people use TLD's (Top level domains) instealed of low level ones), its not a matter of $$ I just like the uniqueness of the domain! :
Well, they weren't available for some reason, but it seems they are back up now.
I also found out that .tk has a premium service that lets you use DNS instead of redirecting. (Or atleast I saw a site that hat http://sitename.tk/forums.php )
