i promoted a friend of mine to admin on my forum and when i went to admin panel it gave me this error....

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://MYSITE.COM/admin/index.php

So it's only allowing me to have 1 admin, what's going on?

dw fixed it, just had to empty my cache...

Well this error could be created by alot of reasons:
1) Admin/index.php got deleted!
2) Permission changes via cpanel
3) your host provider

try putting a fresh admin/index.php and see if the problem gets solved or not

This is a host issue (looks like server down or refused or something) not a MyBB issue iirc
