Not sure if this has been developed, but my theme apparently causes some glitches with IE, and apparently some plugins here aren't IE friendly as well

Something like this:


It will only appear on the portal page, and (obviously) only displays when your using internet explorer

It will display a message we can define, but generally would be something like..

"It appears you are using Internet Explorer #.#, sadly we no longer support IE on these forums, and you may experience some problems trying to browse here on it. We highly recommend you upgrade to firefox, a much safer and more efficient web browser."

Why cant more people just use Firefox or something else?

Because internet explorer comes pre-installed on the most popular OS in the world, and most people are to ignorant to know just how bad IE is

Some are so ignorant they think internet explorer is a good web browser

Thanks for that, i found the IE-6 addon after searching around, but i like the 2nd one you linked best
