Hey.

I want to make a homepage for my forum. I want it to look exactly the same as the forum. The only thing i want to change is the content.

How would i do this?

Would it just be a matter of copying the correct files to my root? And then editing he content?

Forum URL: http://crimson-discussions.com
Follow this tutorial:
http://www.learnmybb.com/forums/Thread-H...-new-pages

Put index for the name of the page and put it into the root directory.
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but i couldn't get it to work Sad
What's the URL to the page you're making??
Did you follow all the steps in the tutorial?
Impossible to get an error following step by step.
Just use http://www.yoursite.com/portal.php

And rename your forum index to portal and your portal to forums and do the necessary linking.

Then, in the settings make the portal pull from a hidden category that is invisible to users except yourself. These posts will be like an RSS feed to your "home page".

It will share the same theme and style to what your forums are 100% without having to do ANY CSS or Template edits.

Looks like you just haven't made a template for it....
Thanks, i've sorted it now Smile

One more question...

I tried to remove the "Lost password" but now i'm getting "undefined".
How would i remove that?

The reason i'm removing this is because its interfering with the template. It pushes content onto a new line. So, i was going to put the link on the new homepage i'm making.
