Dear MyBB staff,
I'd love to see more feedback on the technical suggestions. I and others posted a lot of suggestions like "more hooks" "change this line" and so on.
But we never get any feedback on our suggestions, they are not moved to included, nor to dismissed. And so we can only wait / build work arrounds.

I'd love to know if I have to do a core file edit or if this will be fixed in 1.6 for example.

Please give us feedback for our suggestions, I know your time is limited but I'm allready content with a single line saying "will be included" or "dismissed".
Then I know what I'm on.

Examples of such threads:

...

Thanks for reading

Yes but considering that post isn't in Included or Dismissed, I can only assume Ryan took a quick peek and forgot it exists.
Each suggestion thread is read and considered, no replies doesn't mean it's being ignored. Decisions on suggestions are made in due time, may not be entirely necessary to comment on suggestions now if it wouldn't be implemented until 2.0 anyway. We can't answer every thread and say 'yes', 'no', or 'maybe' as things change.

That doesn't mean anything. It'd be a good idea if I'd get new suspensions for my car but atm I can't afford it.

I understand but we don't see anything from that. I can't say if Ryan read this thread and especially if I do plan to base a plugin on this or not I'd love to get a decent reply.
I don't think decisions about it are that heavy since in most cases facts are pretty clear. Php is eighter this or that way.
And some more info would help me and others to know what we are on.

Kind regards

I think they understand Lennart but they aren't going to promise something in less they can keep the promise. Ryan does read every single suggestion (and if he misses one I'm sure another staff member catches it). As Matt said before what actually ends up in the next release depends on the time they available.

I do.

Indeed.

I have caught college applicationitis as well as everything that goes along with that so my time here at MyBB has been very limited for the last month.
If i am correct, its not the staffs job to approve it or not, that goes on redmine. The thread is simply for discussion.

RL before MyBB, nothing wrong with that. I just wondered about it, I hope you can see my point aswell.

Kind regards
