I'm not sure if it's okay to say it's powered by them, however. That is another issue though, nothing you need to worry about.

In an announcement by Chris, I learnt that Removing Copyright in any Case is Strictly Prohibited and a legal action could be taken.
I am not aware if the MyBB policy has been changed since.

Wherever I reign, I'm keeping that line. MyBB needs it.

It was changed when they changed license to GPL3.
