what are these cookies prefix and why it is use for.

kindly tell me an example!!!
if you have two different mybb forums on the same host, you may need a different database prefix for it so their database tables do not collide; you may also need different cookie prefixes so their cookies don't collide.

changing the cookie prefix is also a great way to invalidate old cookies of clients when you change other cookie settings such as path etc. If you change the cookie prefix, people will be forced to relogin once, but at least this way you are sure that no old cookies can interfere with your new cookie settings.
