Hi i have Google SEO (1.1.5) mod installed but i want to set my site so that when people visit the base url www.autismnetwork.co.uk they get sent to portal.php rather than index.php i know i can set this in .htaccess but was not sure how to do it considering i have google seo mod installed any help peeps.

this is what is currently in my .htaccess

Thanks i just tried it but does not work also on a side note the portal i use has what looks like that mod built in i am thinking the google seo is playing a part in stopping it from directing to portal.php if anyone knows how to achieve this i will be forever in your debt

It does work, loads of people use it, me included. Pretty sure it worked OK for me with Google SEO installed...

ok well hang on i will install it again and you can see as it does not work at my end.

Are you sure it's been setup right in the settings...??

I have tried leaving it as portal.php, http://www.autismnetwork.co.uk/portal.php and /portal.php makes no difference this end still goes to forum.
