Well i want to make a option that closed the forum and pins it.
How would i do this? It would really spead things up quite a bit. Please tell me how i am a noob if it involves editing stuff in ftp so explain in detail.

You mean closes the thread, not forum, don't you...??

You don't need anything in FTP, MyBB has a feature to allow you to do this.

ACP > Configuration > Moderator Tools > Add New Thread Tool. The rest should be clear. Then you'd choose it from the moderation options at the bottom of a thread.
