Does anyone know how to disable the redirect pages when people log in, and log out etc. ????

Acp-Configuration-Settings-Server and Optimization Options. Set to No the option: Friendly Redirection Pages.

Note that this setting will only change it for guests and new users, current users will need to disable it in their User CP Options.
