Hey, im wondering if theres a way to export news from a forum, ie it sets the titles and content as variables so you can use it on the main page of your site. Is this possible? thanks,

Yes, probably the simplest way to do this is use the forum's RSS feed to export the threads and posts. Go to the following URL to set it up:
http://www.yoursite.com/misc.php?action=syndication

I pulled all of my news from the database with the help of this thread.

Yes thank you, I had to modify the code in the post to get what I wanted. I just wanted the text from the post not th whole border and theme etc.
