Who is doing the whatpulse? Who is in the mybb group? People should join, i'm already 3rd last :p

I'm still doing it. Can't do it while at school unfortunately, or I'd have a looot more.

Sorry, i forgot that :p I just started like what.. 2 or 3 days ago, already typed so much. I never thought i typed as much as i did. I guess all the typing does get it higher.

(also have you tried installed it to a USB key and running it off of it?)

It's not getting it here that's the problem, it's that they've blocked pretty much everything outgoing except for HTTP.

I tried for about 3 days different things, on their forums and blah, couldn't get anything. They said one day they might develop something that counts and when you go home you can 'pulse' it through. I am not too fussed though.

What about ssh? If you can ssh out and can run FireFox off your USB key and do this:

I'm sceptical that I will be able to get WhatPulse to connect to my server, but it's worth a shot.

Tell if that works, i'd like to try it.

If you can proxy WhatPulse you can. And theres lots of proxy wrappers for software out there. All you'd have to do is find one, then use the same proxy settings as you put into FF. I've never messed with WhatPulse so I know squat about it. Perhaps it has its own proxy setup?

ok... a little google searching shows that WhatPulse 1.5 has built in proxy ability.

And since 1.6 is out now, I guess you can proxy it through the ssh

Whatpulse has one built in.
