This plugin will allow you to prevent certain user or users from entering a thread or threads of your choosing.

You can enable and disable the plugin from the acp of your forum, where you can also enter the id of the user or users that you want to prevent from entering certain thread/s.

I just coded this plugin for my own forum. I have a coupe of users that when going into a discussion, just can''t let a word go by but will have to have the last word per se. They are long time users so banning was no option. So I came up with this solution instead and thought to share it here with everyone else that has such a situation going on at thier forums.

Attached below are a couple of screenshots of how the plugin looks like in action.

Is there a way that you can set the disallowed threads on a per-member basis?

I am not sure I understood what you meant. Did you mean at the permissions system for single users? If that was it, then the answer is no. All you have to to is to enter the comma separated id''s of the troublesome users that you want to ban from entering a thread or certain threads, at the mod''s settings in the acp. You can enter more than one thread, just make sure to separate their id''s with commas. And those troublesome users won''t be able to enter the threads that you will deny entrance to. For the rest of the threads it will be business as usual

A good feature would be admin being able to check a box on posting a thread, or editing one.
