In VBulletin, theres a feature where you can goto UserCP and select subscriptions and purchase them, when you purchase them you become/ automaticly goto a certian group, which is going to be VIP members. Is there a way to do that?
While I'm against copying vB, I have used said systems before, and it isn't a bad idea to have in core, maybe labrocca could help implement it.
There are already subscription plugins...
The only subscription plugin I know off is a paid plugin from MyBB Central.
I think in 2.0 there is talk of this as a built-in feature. Realize that it's not a small addition to MyBB and it has to be done correctly. I do hope it's eventually included though.
