Is there a way to edit the site name without re-making the site?? Because i dont want to re-make it because i have all those plug-ins and edited stuff and such. Is there a possible way?
You should be able to change it in the admincp. I would imagine it's under general configuration (Sorry it's been like 2 months since I've seen a MyBB ACP
).
lol, this is an easy question to resolve.
1 - Go to your site ACP aka Admin CP.
2 - Upon logging in click on Configurations located in the top navigation menu of ACP.
3 - Then find and click General Configurations.
4 - And there you have it. 2 Options one is to edit forum name and other is to edit Website name.
* Board Name (Forum Name Change)
* Homepage URL (Website Name Change)
5 - After editing the name scroll down and click Save Settings
6 - All done, that was easy ^^
I hope this 6 steps help you.
He shouldn't have to change the homepage url in less he's changing domains as well. In which case he should remember to change the cookie settings as well

That part may be tricky so you may have to do it in the settings.php manually (in the 'inc' folder I believe).
