I think you guys should include an upgrade instructions file in the zip folder that tells people in detail what to do when upgrading their forums.
Twice I have had issues with upgrading forums.

there are enough instructions in the thread related to mybb1.0
i dont know what happend in ur case, coz i have upgraded 2 boards yesterday without facing a single error, and i had to do nothing else after uploading.
what i recommend is to have a backup before any update u make. and read carefully the instructions.

The file "Documentation/upgrade.html" exists in the release, does it not?
