hi
i have installed a copy of mybb on my laptop as i want to add a home page to my forum and thought it est to do it on my laptop first,
i installed mybb first and it was fine, then i added the home page folders and installed a fresh copy of mybb but the forum does not display correctly, the icons are there and new thread buttons etc, but there is no background, i have checked the cookie paths and all the links work fine within the forum, however the admin panel displays fine and as normal, so i figure there must be a template or file i must need to change,
the forum path is
http://localhost/phpbb/mybb/public_html/forums

your theme is messed up. Make sure your images are still pointing to the correct path.

Make sure your Board URL setting is this:

http://localhost/phpbb/mybb/public_html/forums

As Matt said, check the board URL, and your headerinclude template - the CSS files aren't being linked.
