I need to know what tables and fields were added/changed during the upgrade process from PR 1.00 to 1.02.
Upgrade process wasn't so successful...
The process bombed out during the cache process.

I assume you mean to say you were running 1.00 PR2 previously?
What happened at the cache update step specifically, which caused it to die? Was there some sort of error?
I forget at which stage the cache failed, as soon as I hit the next button wham, it failed. I'm in the process of restoring the DB.
Also the forum was a RC4 forum, two other forums I updated in the same timeframe were PR 1.00 forums.
Kind of odd, restored with the exact same database and attempted the upgrade again. Worked like a charm. My only idea at this point would be an ISP connection hiccup re-sending data or the mySQL database server hiccuped.
