Recently I've been hearing a lotta people in the school halls using the phrase "that's legit". I think it's another way of saying "that's cool", but I'm not sure.
Today, we were doing some art work for English, and a dude in the class said "Dude that's legit, you can sharpen the pencil by peeling the paper off".
By definition, legit, or legitimate means genuine. How did we get from genuine, to whatever the hell it means now?
