I think as long as you do not try to defame their product or company name by using the image you should be in the clear from them.
And if you are not making money from it they probably won't care either.
Just my thoughts. They aren't very helpful are they?
It depends how you are going to use it, if you are going to plaster it on something to sell you need to license the use of it, if you are simply putting it in a news story you will not have to do anything but keep it intact with their trademark symbol.

How do you plan to use it? Fair use normally applies to commentary (blog/news/magazine article) or non-commercial use.
You can't make money off it or make their company look bad, as long as you do that you should be fine.
