well, some one posted something in the wrong forum, so i moved it to a neighbouring forum, but the (1 or 2) other threads in that forum got deleted.

So you moved a thread to a forum, and the existing threads in that forum got deleted?
Thats very strange behaviour, as there is nothing in the code that will actually do that.
Can you please check your moderator logs to double check that someone else did not delete the threads, then if you cant find any more information please come back here and post the exact steps you followed so I can try and replicate this problem.

you might be right, i copied the forum and the dump to my localhost, but can't replicate it.
