Hi there

Just got and installed the forum on PrestonNetwork.com...got a few problems / questions...

1. I'm having to keep signing in whenever I change pages - how do I stop this.

2. How do I change the "contact us" email address?

3. How do I change the name of the website etc

4. Can I add a invisable hitcounter script anywhere on the homepage?

5. Can I had a favicon to the site?

6. How do I add categories.


Sorry for all the questions, Im not a great user of forums, but need to start somewhere!

Just got sort the log in and stay logged in problem first!

Every heard of Searching this forum and you always got Uncle Google to Google how to add a favicon.

Also maybe work on your writing a title skills, just saying ^^.

Also can you try and use more descriptive thread titles in future?? Even 'New to MyBB, lots of questions' is better than 'HEEEELLLLLPPPPPPP'

2. ACP > Configuration > General Configuration.

3. As above.

4. You can add it wherever you want, but depending on what script you use it might need to go in a certain place; post the link to the one you'll use and we can tell you where to put the code.

5. Make a file called favicon.ico, upload it to the root folder.

6. ACP > Forums & Posts... that one should be quite clear really.
