As I just received a PM from someone who seems not to have received the email with the account activation link, and I do not know of an "resend account activation email" link, I thought it might be a good suggestion to have one.
It should at least be mentioned somewhere, just like the lost password form. Options nobody knows about will not be used.
I was thinking of making a section in the Help documents. I don't really know of any other place where to put it, although placing a link "Resend validation email" next to the "Forgot your password?" link on the page with

Those are both very good suggestions, especially on the "No Permissions" notice.
I think you should put it in the membes bar to the left, i mean there istn anything there, but make it only appear if the person is a quest, or has jsut registered and logged in and is pending validation.

So it could be added to the "toplinks" template, but not the "toplinks_admin" and "toplinks_member" template. That's also not a bad idea.
