Facebook Connect uses about 50kb of space. To integrate OpenID, it's more like 600kb.

Plus, I already know the Facebook markup language, so it's a lot easier for me.

The Core is installed on the Xekko forum. The Profile System module is being tested at the Beta site...

Is the beta site for beta testers only or is it public?

It's for beta testers only. When it's relatively bug free it'll be moved to the Xekko forum.
