Actually installing plugins in mybb is a piece of cake. Unzip the plugin package and upload the files accordingly preserving the structure. i.e. the plugin file should go to the plugin folder in the inc directory, the language files , providing the plugin commes with them, should be uploaded at the languages folder etc etc. then as last but not least go to the acp of your forum-Plugins and activate/install plugin from there. Hope it helps.
