Off course you ware allowed to modify your board as you like. Wink But you're not allowed to distribute your version.

Yes as michael said, you are allowed to do what you want to your own installation of myBB (dont remove copyrights tho!) however you can not then release your modified version of myBB however you can release "mods" with new files (no myBB original files) and a guide how to get for instance the flash smilies on other peoples forum, hope that is explained ok!.

im just really thinkin for the future. coz once im on a bbs system i hate to HAVE to transfer.. such as what im doing now.. from IPB (12 boards total) to GOD KNOWS WHERE!!!!! Sad

You're not allowed to modify MyBB and make "YourBB" and release it as your own.
