I don't want to bring any trouble and I know I am not surpose to this but I have been waiting for 10 days now for my theme update to get excepted in the mod store and I think MyBBoard has to do something about this because this gets bit ridicules.

I have updated the download file of http://mods.mybboard.net/view/mybb-pro on 11/17/2009 and now today 11/27/2009 it's still not accepted.

I know the staff is busy and with the whole development of 1.6 coming soon but could someone atleast check the mod page once a day and validate/check all new/updated mods?

Thanks,
Zomaian Blush
Just attach the download to the first post of a thread. They seem to get validated quicker.

It's what I do. I don't bother relying on the mods site anymore, truth be told.
The theme has to be validated in the mods section before your release thread is approved. So the first time you release it you cant just attach it.
Perhaps, I haven't released a new theme in ages. But for updates and such, the mods site is just a waste of time. Undecided
Yea. It takes over a week to get them approved now. I submitted one yesterday. I might not even bother making a thread about because I will forget about it by the time it is approved.
Yea but I want to add it in the Mod Section to support MyBB because most people that aren't that bonded with the MyBB Community go rather to the big "Mod" link in the menu than the forum releases.

I never understood why their was a mod section and than a release forum for plugins and themes. If you add all those releases on the forum to the mod section MyBB well have a giant mod section thus more people will switch to them because at the moment the Mod Section looks weak.
I understand that sometime it gets frustrated to wait that long for a plugin/theme to get approved, but we must understand that mybb staff has got their hands full and do their best under the cisrcumstances. I believe that I have read somewhere that they are trying to come with a solution to speed up the approval process.

Yea same but come one how much energy does it take to just check the mod section ONCE a day? Maybe 5-20 minutes?
They have to download the files, test them, check for bugs, security holes, etc.
It's not as simple as a click. Themes might be, but plugins aren't.
True maybe they should set up a special team for mod activations?
