Am I stupid at finding things (well, I actually am) or is there no mod or feature which would directly add a custom profile field on registration like they have in some of the other forum software? It doesn't seem like an amazingly tough mod to code.
It is a core feature. Do a settings search for 'custom profile field' then when you're creating one, make sure you check 'include in registration' or something like that.
Looks like it is, but the custom fields I have are optional (ie. Xbox Live Gamertags, not everyone has those), so I want them Optional AND included on registration.
Same problem. Optional fields should be visible during registration. how can I fix that?
