Can I set up the editing function for an individual thread or is it a global function only....
I would like to allow members to edit their posts on 2-3 threads, but keep the remaining threads as I set them...

You can set a time limit (e.g. user makes thread - user can edit thread before time limit is reached). That's about as far as it goes for editing unless you disable the permission completely. :p

I already have a time limit set for users to edit their posts....
What I want to do is have certain threads not have any time limit for edits and have the rest of the forum set to have time limits...
