Look you said your forum acted like a blog? Why use MyBB . If that the case just use WordPress like you intended to do.

Saying that I did not have interesting content is a stretch and a tad rude. As stated, I has traffic just that people were not registering for forums to receive email when a thread was posted. I am not sure what I will do but I suspect I will not be continuing with MyBB.

As i said, look for a phpbb to wordpress merge or something like that. then merge you mybb database to it. otherwise its copy/paste.
