I set the friendly URLs ENABLED and them when I click to enter in the thread I got error saying that the page does not exist...
How do I solve it? I want to use the engine.

Did you follow the instructions and rename your htaccess.txt file to .htaccess first??

Yes. I followed the Wiki.

So you renamed it, then turned on the setting?? In that cause then your host may not support mod_write, ask if they do; if they don't, it won't work.

Hey matt I asked the administrator of the host and he said that the mod_rewrite is enabled by default...

Redownload MyBB and upload a new copy of the htaccess.txt file and rename it again... you are renaming it to .htaccess, yes?? The . at the start is necessary.

Yes. With the "." at the start.
Downloaded, reuploaded, set the URL to ENABLED and didn't work.
Mhmmm... What persmission do I have to set? None?

Permissions for the file shouldn't affect it. If the option is set to enabled then I don't see why it wouldn't work. Contact your host to see if they can find a problem.

But if the mod_rewrite is enabled by default in all the servers why this option didn't work?

Well it obviously isn't a problem with mybb as you said it redirected to the .html extension successfully. If it fails to actually rewrite to the php file then it must be your host.
