Upload new images via FTP, if they've got the same name and file extension they'll update automatically.

That is why it is always best to do some seaqrching before you ask about something. Liek that you would save yourself and us a lot of time as well

And if the images have a different image extension?

Then you need to edit the index, forumbit_depth2_forum and forumbit_depth2_cat templates and edit general.js.
