I'm helping a friend with moderating his site. There is a need for mods changing other users usernames. Only problem is the Username is classified as a required field making mods unable to change the username. Can someone please help me with this if it can be changed?

They'd need ACP access, you can give people access to specific parts of the ACP but it's not as specific as you need, to only be able to change one thing, so it'll need a plugin.
