I'm really curios how this stuff works? how the {$bgcolor} looks to the trow1 and trow2 elements.
It defines in the core files, that's why I said to use a different variable instead of editing the core file. Using the new variable and defining its class inside the global.css is a best way to edit your desired areas.
Thanks for the answers guys, and sorry for my noob questions but i'm one
Were exactly is the {$bgcolor} define in the ocre files? just for my knowledge.
So if I go for {$bgcolor2} what do I add in the global.css
Thanks

$bgcolor -- defined in :
editpost.php ... newreply.php ... usercp.php ... showteam.php ... forumdisplay.php
newthread.php ... member.php ... functions_forumlist.php ... search.php ... index.php
$bgcolor2 -- defined in :
editpost.php ... newthread.php
you can have bgcolor_n class in global.css & add whatever style you want to try
