I seen 2 people in our "Awaiting moderation" group, but is there any other way to approve it, other than changing their group?
You mean like 'Awaiting Validation'? In the Admin CP Dashboard, under the 'User' row in the 'Forum Statistics' column there's a link to validating users to validate them.
Mines say Awaiting Activation. But i dont have a "Forum Statitics" column anywhere in admin CP. just checked every tab at the top. I'm using MyBB ver 1.4.9
Damn, I see there's a new version 1.4.10, I don't even know how to upgrade without negatively affecting the forum.

Use 1.4.10.
On the admin page index, it says something like:
Quote:XX Registered Users
X Active Users
X Registrations Today
X Awaiting Activation
Clicking the bold link above should let you validate the moderated users (if that's what you're asking).

Simple instructions:
- Turn the forum offline.
- Download and upload the
changed files.
- Run the installer (/install/)
- Delete the installer.
- Turn your forum online.
