I would like to remove email ID requirement when a user registers. I would like to test this out in my live forum. How do I do it? Thanks.

In the acp, under configuration, there is an option too. 'User Registration and Profile Options' Go there and select instant.

You'll need file edits or a plugin, it isn't a case of just turning it off.

OK thanks. I already activated 'instant'. How do I edit the files and such? Any guides out there?
