i have tried to install smilies on my board that are hosted on another website's server. whenever i type these smilies, they do not appear but rather the names ive given them. what have i messed up now?

Are you sure the image path is correct?

You'll need th full http:// URL, I'm not even sure if that will work really. Hotlinking like this is never recommended, all it's going to do is slow your forum down.

well, it's a no-go for the hotlinking, i found my server password and i'm going to add them straight to the smilies directory...

let's hope i don't break the space-time continuum...
