When ever I (or any other user) posts a quick reply, it shows THAT post as unread on index and sub-forums. I understand this is due to the page not being refreshed after posting. My question, is there any way I can have the page refresh after posting, or enter the post into the database as read?

This is a known limitation of the system and would need a rewrite of a lot of code to work 100%. You could request a plugin but I don't know if a plugin would be able to totally fix this behaviour and other related behaviour.

Well hmm... couldn't I just have it POST rather than using AJAX?
