When i tried to merge two post i got this error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_forum_data() in /home/blake/public_html/forums/inc/class_moderation.php on line 647
uh???

This is a known (and fixed) issue, and has also been discussed recently. You really should try and search first (Not being rude, I'm just as guilty of this sometimes)
